We have been advised that works for Viva at 301 St Kilda Street, Brighton are almost complete and auditing for Statement of Compliance is underway. Once the Statement of Compliance is obtained, the Plan of Subdivision will be lodged at Land Victoria. Settlements are currently expected for March 2018.
Please find below an update from the developer for the Viva project at 301 St Kilda Road, Brighton:
I would like to confirm that we have signed [the] construction contract with a builder last week, and now the builder has started to get insurance and building permit.
The loan has been approved by Westpac and [we are] waiting for the formal document from Westpac.
We believe the construction will [be starting] within 2 weeks and aim to complete before the end of May 2018.
We have been advised that the project has experienced a slight delay. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the developer has to appoint a different builder for the project. The developer is currently re-tendering the balance of the work to be completed and expects to recommence works at the end of April. It is estimated that there are about three months of work to complete the job so anticipated completion is now July. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
The Builder advises that the trusses are now being installed and ceilings going in downstairs.
Services are being roughed in later this month and completion is set for approximately October, 2016.
