We wish to advise that the Palladium project at 226 Waverley Road, Malvern East is progressing along smoothly. The development is now above ground, with the builder having completed two level basements and are currently building formwork to pour the 1st floor. The developer is hoping to have the structure completed by early October. We will continue to provide further updates as construction progresses.

The site excavation is complete and the builder will be pouring basement level (2) this Friday. The program will then be two weeks for Basement (1) and weather permitting ground floor level slab by end of July. We have been fortunate with weather to date and so are expecting progress to continue smoothly. We will continue to provide you with updates as we receive more details.
We are happy to advise that the builder Lexicon is now formally on site at 226 Waverley Road, Malvern! The site has been fully demolished and scraped of topsoil. The sewer branch is complete at the rear of the property and we now have the piling rig onsite. We will continue to provide you with more updates as the construction progresses.
Demolition has commenced at Palladium with Hughes demolition on site early this month. Roof tiles and internals, including floorboards, have been removed and excavation is underway. We will provide a further update when construction commences.
After speaking with the developer this morning, we have been advised that the demolition for this project will be commencing Monday 30 January 2017.
The reason for the delay on demolition (that was to start just before Christmas) was that they were waiting on the Asset Protection Permit from Stonnington Council.
They have now received the APP and demolition will take approximately two weeks of which then the site will be handed over to the builders being Lexicon.
Once construction commences, we will be able to update our website and the buyers for this project on a monthly basis.
The developer are pleased to provide the below update on the project, which has now achieved very significant milestones.
1 – The Finance Contract has been signed
2 – The Building Contract has been signed
3 – A demolition permit has been applied for with Stonnington Council and is expected next week
4 – Hughes demolition is confident to have the site cleared in 2016.
5 – A Stage 1 Building Permit is being applied for, and
6 – Construction will commence in January 2017.
