We are pleased to announce the occupancy permit has now been issued which is the final requirement for settlement. The purchaser’s legal representative will be notified today of the due date of settlement.

To avoid penalties associated with late settlement, please ensure both the financier and legal representative are ready for settlement.

A copy of both the occupancy permit and registered plan of subdivision are attached.

Gravity – July 2017 Update (Final Inspections)

Please find below latest updates from Gravity, with details on arranging your Final Inspections:


The plan of subdivision has been registered, which is one of the two requirements for settlement. A copy is attached. In relation to the other requirement, the occupancy permit, we expect it at the end of July 2017.

We are also now ready for final inspections pre settlement inspections at Gravity.

Pre Registration Process

All apartments must be pre-registered individually otherwise access will be denied.

There is only one inspection allowed per apartment, so please ensure any representatives required are present at the appointment i.e. building inspectors, real estate agents etc.

Registration process is as follows:

  • Inspection requests must include the following information prior to being pre-registered:
  1. Purchaser name
  2. Name of the representative inspecting
  3. Booking confirmation email address
  4. Booking confirmation mobile phone number
  5. Apartment no to be inspected
  6. Preferred inspection time option 1
  7. Preferred inspection time option 2
  • Once the request has been received, Kim will confirm by email the booking, or recommend an alternative time.
  • On site, Kim will induct the purchaser/s and/or representatives, and walk them through the apartment.

 

Please note, no access will be granted if the specific apartment is not pre-registered.

All purchaser/s and/or representatives are required to arrive 10 minutes early for registration.

The meeting point is outside Jimmy the Saint Café. Jimmy the Saint Café is located next door to Gravity located off Gladstone Street.

Gravity – April 2017 Update

Please find below update from the developer of the Gravity development:


Gravity is progressing to programme thanks to the great work of Hamilton Marino builders.

This will be our final update prior to moving into the settlement updates phase.

Onsite, works are progressing extremely well with the majority of external building works now complete. The tower crane has now been dismantled, signalling the end of the heavy lifting. The scaffolding has been peeled off showcasing the beautiful architectural elements of the building including the architectural fins.

Internally, all the contractors are working cohesively to deliver the project to the highest standard in a timely and orderly manner. Kitchens, bathrooms, plastering and tiling are almost complete, as well as all the wonderful shared spaces including the private dining room, outdoor cinema, spa, bbq, and lounge.

Internally, the various trades including carpenters, joinery makers, electricians, plumbers and plasterers are sequentially working their way up the building. Most apartments up to level 24 have been completed.

Legal Matters

For legal matters, please ensure you continue to liaise with the legal representative. They will require a fully executed copy of the Contract of Sale as a starting point. If a legal representative is yet to be appointed, please ensure it is done so immediately.

Finance Application

If finance is required to settle the apartment, you need to ensure you are working diligently with them to ensure all documentation is in place in readiness for settlement. Please note the application process is longer, and significantly slower. If a financier is yet to be appointed, please ensure it is done so immediately.

Bank Valuation
The financier may require a bank valuation inspection to be carried out in order to complete the loan application.
The bank valuation inspections are by appointment only and must be booked through us.
In due course we will provide you will details on the valuation process.

At this stage, we expect valuations to commence in early June 2017. We will advise you of a firmer date with our next update.

Gravity – January 2017 Update

We have received the below updates from the developer of Gravity.


Gravity is progressing ahead of programme thanks to the great work of Hamilton Marino.

Structural works continue, with levels 28-30 to be poured by the end of February and therefore topping out the structure. Apartment internal fitouts have now commenced on level 23, and continue on the levels below this.

The tower crane is expected to be dismantled by mid-March, with all windows and external architectural fins to be completed by the end of March.
