There has been some significant progress with the Knoxia development at 456 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South. We are excited to advise that the developer, Centric Capital Group, has recently entered into an agreement with a leading Australian based real estate investment management firm, Qualitas, to acquire and undertake the delivery of the project.
By way of background, since its inception in 2008, Qualitas is a firm with a successful and consistent track record in real estate investment, having financed, invested or managed over 8,300 residential dwellings and over 100,000 sqm of commercial assets across all major Australian markets.
Qualitas has managed real estate investments with a total asset value of circa $5.0 billion and through partnerships with the likes of Grocon, Leighton Properties, Toga Group and Consolidated Properties Group and has successfully completed or is in the process of delivering the following residential projects as follows:
Wrap Apartments, Southbank, Victoria – 301 residential apartments, completed in 2014;
Bouverie Apartments, Carlton, Victoria – 225 residential apartments, completed in March 2016;
Aqua Apartments, Bondi Junction, NSW – 129 residential apartments, completed in August 2016;
Fawkner Residences, St Kilda, Victoria – 259 luxury residential apartments, scheduled for completion in August 2017;
Spire Apartments, Brisbane, QLD – 340 residential apartments scheduled for completion in October 2017.
Qualitas has indicated that it is excited to be involved in the project and considers the project to be a strategic fit with its current portfolio of projects. It has appointed a preferred builder and is currently finalising construction contract documentation with a view to commencing demolition works in the near term.
In light of Qualitas’ involvement, there will also be a marketing re-launch for the remaining apartments. You are welcome to come on-site to speak to us at the display suite during opening hours for further information on the status of the marketing re-launch.

We write to advise of good news.
The permit extension has now been received, and we are now full steam ahead.
As previously mentioned, the timing has meant that little can be done before the year is finished, however, we want to assure you all, that it will be moving forward as quickly as it will be possible.
There will be another update posted, where we will be able to outline a construction timetable for you all to work to.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, and know this has been terribly frustrating for some of you, but please be rest assured that we are out of the woods now, and we are smooth sailing going forward.
As mentioned, we will be providing another update with the timetable, and we will be recommencing around mid-January, the selling of some of the remaining apartments available, so feel free to drop in and discuss should you wish.

The Developer has advised that they are trying to organise a new contractor to demolish the site while they are applying to disconnect the existing powers pole, electricity, etc.Read more
We are pleased to announce that demolition is expected to begin at approximately the end of July/beginning of August.
The Knoxia development has recently appointed Harris HMC as the Builder. They have an excellent track record and the project is in good hands. Currently, we are awaiting the demolition Permit from Knox City Council. Demolition and groundwork will begin as soon as Council has finalised the paperwork.
