We are pleased to announce the occupancy permit was issued yesterday. This is the final requirement for settlement. The purchaser’s legal representative has been notified of the due date of settlement.

To avoid penalties associated with late settlement, please ensure both the financier and legal representative are ready for settlement.

  3. Representative picking up keys and residents manual
  4. Preferred appointment time

Pre Registration Process

All apartments must be pre-registered individually otherwise access will be denied.
There is only one inspection allowed per apartment, so please ensure any representatives required are present at the appointment i.e. building inspectors, real estate agents etc.

Registration process is as follows:

  • Inspection requests must include the following information prior to being pre-registered:
  1. Purchaser name
  2. Name of the representative inspecting
  3. Booking confirmation email address
  4. Booking confirmation mobile phone number
  5. Apartment no to be inspected
  6. Preferred inspection time option 1
  7. Preferred inspection time option 2
  • Once the request has been received, Kim will confirm by email the booking, or recommend an alternative time.
  • On site, Kim will induct the purchaser/s and/or representatives, and walk them through the apartment.

Please note, no access will be granted if the specific apartment is not pre-registered.
All purchaser/s and/or representatives are required to arrive 10 minutes early for registration.
The meeting point is onsite with the entry on at Wellington Street. There will be a sign at the meeting point.

Lantern – July 2017 Update

Please find below the latest update from the developer of Lantern:


Lantern is well advanced and nearing completion. The scaffolding is currently being peeled off showcasing the beautiful architectural elements of the building. Internally, all the contractors are working cohesively to deliver the project to the highest standard in a timely and orderly manner. Kitchens, bathrooms, plastering and tiling are almost complete, as well as all the wonderful shared spaces including the green gardens, gymnasium, and roof top entertainment zones.

Moving forward, we will provide you with some helpful hints to guide you through the settlement process.
Our team have a dedicated contact person as the point of contact for all matters relating to the settlement of Lantern.
We will advise of settlement timing, assist with finance enquiries, as well as conduct bank valuation and purchaser inspections.

Legal Matters

For legal matters, please ensure you continue to liaise with the legal representative. They will require a fully executed copy of the Contract of Sale as a starting point. If a legal representative is yet to be appointed, please ensure it is done so immediately.

Finance Application

If finance is required to settle the apartment, you need to ensure you are working diligently with them to ensure all documentation is in place in readiness for settlement. Please note the application process is longer, and significantly slower. If a financier is yet to be appointed, please ensure it is done so immediately.

Bank Valuation
The financier may require a bank valuation inspection to be carried out in order to complete the loan application.

The bank valuation inspections are by appointment only and must be booked through us.

In due course we will provide you will details on the valuation process.

At this stage, we expect valuations to commence in early October 2017. We will advise you of a firmer date with our next update.

Lantern – April 2017 Update

Lantern is continuing to progress to programme.

We have completed the basement works, and have now commenced the structure. As we work our way up the structure we will commence the cladding. The cladding will incorporate the window systems, all feature architecture elements, wall finishing, and balustrading. As the apartments become watertight, we will commence the services rough in, with internal fit out works to follows.

We have received the below updates from the developer of Lantern.


Lantern is progressing to programme thanks to great work of Orange Building Solutions.

We are currently working on completing the basement, with the full retention works now complete.  The tower crane has now been erected, in preparation for the structural. Basement level 3 slab on ground has been poured, with basement level 2 slab anticipated to be poured by the end of February.

 The old building has now been demolished, with the bulk excavation work now underway.
